Jacquille Veii went into Maryland's one-day camp on Thursday morning ready to prove himself to his hometown school. The 5-foot-10, 175-pound two-star athlete already held a couple BCS offers from the likes of Boston College and Iowa, but the school just 30 minutes from his home had yet to pull the trigger.

That changed after Veii ran the 40-yard dash and shocked even himself.
