At the rate Maryland is going through quarterbacks this fall, it probably wouldn't be much of a surprise if former sixth-string signal caller Brian McMahon took control of the huddle at some point. Freshman Shawn Petty will start this Saturday against Georgia Tech, but McMahon, a freshman walk-on, is now second on the depth chart.
