A few days after the 2011 football season came to an end, Maryland defensive end A.J. Francis asked Kenneth Tate if he was going to jump to the NFL.

And why not? Before Tate tore his Anterior Cruciate Ligament and missed most of the season, he was the Terps' playmaker on defense. He was the guy that most offenses identified before snapping the ball.
