It's been a schizophrenic, up-and-down season for the Wake Forest Demon Deacons, evidenced by their dead-even record (10-10) through 20 games. The Deacons have knocked off the likes of Virginia, Boston College and N.C. State in Winston Salem, and they've hung tough in close losses to Connecticut and Duke. But Wake has also been handled by Iona, Nebraska, Georgia Tech and Duke (the first time the two teams met); lost to mid-major Richmond; and couldn't overcome a struggling Virginia Tech squad.
