The Virginia Tech Hokies: A statistical breakdown

TerrapinTimes.com There is no question it's been a struggle for Virginia Tech in 2012-13. The Hokies (11-10, 2-6 ACC) lost to Maryland by 23 points to open ACC play back on Jan. 5, and since then they've won just two of eight conference games. The Hokies will get the Terps (16-6, 4-5) at home on Feb. 7, but that doesn't guarantee much, considering Tech is just 1-3 in Blacksburg since ACC play started, including losses to Boston College by 11, Virginia by 16 and Miami by nine. Tech has dropped four straight games and hasn't won since edging out Wake Forest, 66-65, back on Jan. 19.
