Terps hope to change script
It's Halloween eve and the Maryland football season has already turned frightening.
Terrapin players have been disappearing from the top of the depth chart like teenagers going off on their own in one of the "Halloween" movies.
The Terps have dropped two games in a row and if they want to keep the rest of the season from becoming a true nightmare, they need to exorcise some demons and get after North Carolina on Saturday at 3:45 in Chapel Hill.
Three wins in the final four games assures the injury-riddled Terrapin team of a bowl berth, two and they may just slide in with a little luck - something they haven't had much of this season.
"These next four games are very important," said junior defensive end Jeremy Navarre at Tuesday's weekly press luncheon. "We put ourselves in this position and we have to win three out of four. We have higher goals than that but we've got to focus on one game at a time."
