Lewis coming off huge junior season

After a 43-7 drubbing at the hands of Farmington Hills Harrison in week one, Detroit Cass Tech was not taken seriously as a state title contender, but 14 weeks later they were hoisting the Division 1 trophy, and junior cornerback Jourdan Lewis was a big reason why.

The 5-11, 170-pound Lewis starred at both cornerback and wide receiver for Cass Tech this fall, finishing with 1,200 all-purpose yards, 11 total touchdowns on offense and eight interceptions on defense. In the state title game he caught four passes for 84 yards and a touchdown while garnering six tackles on defense, leading Cass Tech to a 49-13 championship game win.
