Texas wide receiver picking up steam

Torii Hunter Jr. grew up around the game of baseball. Understandable with his father none other than the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim's gold-glove award winning outfielder of the same name. However, while the younger Hunter has also made a name for himself on the diamond, it's his skills on the football field that have attracted a number of high profile schools including West Virginia.

Hunter, 6-foot-1, 175-pounds, plays wide receiver at Prosper (Tx.) and has seen his scholarship offers double in the last week with West Virginia, Notre Dame, Arizona and Mississippi State jumping into the mix.
