Big time junior gets smaller

Carson (Calif.) junior offensive lineman Wade Yandall has the potential to be a big recruit next season. However, at 6-foot-5, 280-pounds, he may never be as a big as he was.

Losing 50 pounds this offseason, Yandall has his sights set on winning a CIF City Section Title and then winning a scholarship to the college of his choice.

Limping into the playoffs, the Carson Colts have battled through injuries and inexperience. With the proverbial slate whipped clean, the real season begins.
