Massive junior visits campus

A new junior that has popped up on the Terps' recruiting radar is this 6-foot-7 offensive line prospect that visited last weekend for the Maryland-Clemson football game.

TT caught up with him on the sidelines before the game.

Richmond, VA Meadowbrook High School offensive lineman Morgan Moses is receiving interest from Virginia, Virginia Tech and Maryland, among others, but it's still early in the process for him to get his first offer.

The 310-pounder was an obvious target on the Maryland sidelines. He towered over most of the group that recruit coordinator coach Dave Sollazzo and staff invited to Byrd to talk with the coaches and tour the Gossett Football Team House before and after the game.

Moses had never been to Maryland but figured the Clemson game would be a good one to get an idea of the atmosphere at Byrd. He liked what he heard of Maryland's football and academic programs.

"I've always heard good things about the school and how the students here can get good jobs in the government and all of the businesses in Baltimore and Washington," he said. "Maryland has great coaches and I've liked talking with coach [Tom] Brattan a few times."

Moses is new to recruiting and has visited only Maryland and Virginia, when the Cavaliers played Wake Forest.
