Eastern Shore PG draws attention

Word is starting to get out. Several sources tell TT that there is a sophomore point guard on Maryland's Eastern Shore that has a chance to be a good one.

The young man in question is Cedrick Johnson, who plays for Snow Hill HS.

Johnson plays for a small school, in the 1A classification, and he, himself, is on the small side, too.

Cedrick stands 5-8 1/2, and weighs about 145 pounds, according to his father, Bryon Johnson, who also coaches him on the Maryland Supremes AAU team.

Johnson will also be playing next spring with Team Melo out of Baltimore. Though prospects on the Eastern Shore sometimes get overlooked and underpublicized, that will likely not be the case with this 15 year old.

Johnson, who has a 3.5 GPA, has some interesting ACC connections.
