Appalachian State commit Damir Faison intrigued by recent Terps offer
Charlotte (N.C.) Vance two-star defensive end Damir Faison is currently committed to Appalachian State, but since getting his first Power Five offer from Maryland in the beginning of January, the 6-foot-3, 240-pound pass rusher’s recruitment has begun to take off and could lead to him opening his search back up at some point.

Terps offensive coordinator Walt Bell paid a visit to Vance back in October and Faison said the two of them spoke briefly but that he did not know that he was on Maryland’s radar from there.
After tracking Faison through his junior season, Bell reached back out to the Vance coaching staff and extended an offer to the North Carolina native.
