Florida DL Dion Goldbourne commits to Maryland

The Terps picked up their third pledge of the day Monday night when Atlantic (Fla.) defensive end Dion Goldbourne committed to Maryland.

Goldbourne, who just recently took up football, is a high school teammate of Antwaine Richardson, a former Michigan pledge that committed to Maryland last week.

The 6-foot-4, 200-pound Goldbourne's commitment comes on the heels of fellow Florida defensive lineman Aaron Thompson announcing on Twitter earlier in the day that he was decommitting from Maryland in order to open his recruitment back up. Thompson officially visited South Carolina last weekend.

Goldbourne becomes the 19th commit in the Terps' 2016 class.
