Hometown Terps were simply the best fit for Fleet-Davis
After narrowing down his recruitment to Maryland and Syracuse, Oxon Hill (Md.) Potomac 2017 three-star running back Tayon Fleet-Davis committed to the hometown Terps at their recruiting cookout July 30.
The 6-foot, 215-pound power runner told TSR that being able to play at the next level in front of friends and family was the overriding factor in his decision.
“Just it being the home state, I always loved it,” Fleet-Davis said. “But my mom loved it so that brought me even closer and I have a lot of friends committed there already. My family will get to see me more than they would if I was at Syracuse, friends will, too.”
