Local DE Lawtez Rogers commits to Maryland

The Terps have picked up a commitment from Greenbelt (Md.) Eleanor Roosevelt three-star defensive end Lawtez Rogers.

The addition of Rogers comes on the heels of five-star Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy defensive end Josh Kaindoh decommitting from Maryland earlier in the week.

The 6-foot-4, 245-pounder chose the Terps over offers from Louisville, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, Syracuse, Wake Forest and more.

Rogers joins Baltimore (Md.) St. Frances three-star B'Ahmad Miller as the Terps' current commits at defensive end.

Stay tuned to TSR for more on Rogers' commitment.
