Maryland first to offer emerging Florida offensive tackle
With offensive linemen continuing to be one of Maryland's most pressing needs for the current recruiting cycle, the coaching staff has left no stone unturned. One of the most recent offers went out Sept. 20 to St. John's (Fla.) Creekside offensive tackle Matthew McCoy.
After watching some film, Maryland wasted little time in becoming the first school to offer, with recruiting analyst Jeremy Shapiro making the initial call.
