Maryland hosted Campbell on an official visit during the weekend of Jan. 7, with the 6-foot lead guard taking in the Terps' 91-73 win over Iowa from behind the team's bench.

Campbell most recently visited UCLA this past weekend and has officially visited all four finalist.

As for when a final decision will come, Campbell will announce his commitment on Feb. 1, he told MadeHoops.com's Pat Lawless.

A former college point guard himself, Maryland head coach Mark Turgeon has played a major hand in the Terps' recruitment of Campbell.

“Coach Turgeon is a great guy and his pitch is that I can come in and play alongside another great guard Anthony Cowan,” Campbell told MadeHoops.com. “In his history of coaching he has played two small guards and been successful.”

Campbell will now spend the next couple of days mulling over his decision.

“I’m looking for a great opportunity, I don’t quite know what that opportunity is yet, but each school that’s recruiting me has a different draw for me,” Campbell told MadeHoops.com. “It’s just going to boil down to where my heart is at and what I’m willing to sacrifice for my decision.”
