TSR takes a look at each of Maryland's planned visitors over the next several weeks and where things stand in their recruitment.
Visiting: Sept. 2
Contenders: Maryland, Georgetown, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Purdue
First up for the Terps is arguably their most important recruit in the class, five-star stretch forward Jaren Jackson Jr.
Jackson, who won't turn 17 until Sept. 15, had a huge spring and summer, highlighted by winning gold at the 2017 U17 World Championship in Spain. The 6-foot-10, 220-pounder led Team USA in blocked shots while also averaging 4.3 points and 5.2 rebounds per game in limited minutes.
