Maryland's recruitment of three-star WR Randy Fields beginning to pick up

PISCATAWAY, N.J. -- Terps 2017 pledge B’Ahmad Miller became the first player from Baltimore (Md.) St. Frances to commit to Maryland during the D.J. Durkin era, and the staff in College Park is returning to Charm City with high interest in Miller’s teammate and 2018 three-star wide receiver, Randy Fields.

The 6-foot-3, 190-pound Fields holds offers from Cincinnati, Pitt, Virginia Tech and Wake Forest but he has Maryland, West Virginia and North Carolina waiting in the wings to ante up. He said he plans to attend camps at Maryland, Pitt, Virginia Tech, Wake Forest and North Carolina this summer.
