Washington (D.C.) Gonzaga 2018 four-star combo guard Prentiss Hubb is still more than a year away from stepping onto the floor for whichever college he decides to attend, but the 6-foot-2 junior is already molding his game for the next level by developing his point guard skills this season.

Playing in a backcourt for the Eagles this year with Miami Hurricanes-bound Chris Lykes, Hubb is focussing on being more of a floor general to help utilize Lykes’ prolific scoring ability and showcase his point guard skill set to college coaches.

Hubb listed Maryland, Virginia, Villanova, Notre Dame, Wake Forest, Xavier, Georgetown and Penn State as schools that have been recruiting him the hardest recently. He added that he saw coaches from several of those programs at his school Dec. 9-11 for the Gonzaga DC Classic, which the Eagles won while Hubb continued to be effective running the point.
