Maryland football added a big piece to the 2025 football puzzle January 13, with a commitment from Central Connecticut State offensive lineman Rahtrel Perry.

Perry, a 6-foot-7, 323-pound offensive tackle, chose the Terps over Florida State, Ohio State, Pittsburgh, Syracuse, and more.

A native of New London, Conn., Perry earned first-team All-NEC honors this past season as the Blue Devils' starting left tackle. He appeared in eight games in 2023 and redshirted in 2022.

Perry is the Terps' second offensive line pickup from the transfer portal this offseason, joining former Akron offensive tackle Jayvon James. He will arrive in College Park with two years of eligibility remaining.
