After hosting him on campus a few weeks ago and watching him perform well on the AAU circuit with DC Premier throughout the spring, Maryland offered Upper Marlboro (Md.) Rock Creek Christian Academy 2018 three-star power forward Jermaine Harris May 30.

The 6-foot-8, 220-pound Harris adds the hometown Terps to an offer list that already included Georgetown, Miami, Penn State, Providence, Rhode Island, Seton Hall, South Carolina, Virginia Tech, West Virginia, Xavier, Georgia and Tennessee. Through four weekends of AAU action, Harris has averaged 13 points, 5.5 rebounds and a block per game while shooting 55 percent from the floor and 50 percent (7-for-14) from beyond the arc.
