With the opening weekend of 2017’s first evaluation period a wrap, Maryland head coach Mark Turgeon and his staff checked in on some top Terps targets and identified a few others. Most recently Turgeon extended an offer to Saint James (Md.) School three-star power forward Bryce Golden, who got the news from Maryland April 24 after leading Team Takeover in rebounds during the Nike EYBL event in Hampton, Va., last weekend.
