Calvert Hall's Chance Campbell breaks down commitment
Maryland added a second linebacker to its 2018 class with a commitment May 26 from Baltimore (Md.) Calvert Hall three-star outside linebacker Chance Campbell.

The 6-foot-2, 225-pound local recruit held offers from several Ivy League schools as well as Power Five programs such as Boston College, Duke, Indiana, Michigan State, Pitt, Rutgers, Virginia and West Virginia, but Campbell ultimately decided to go with the hometown Terps because of College Parks’ balance of academics and athletics.
