Cincy three-star signal caller talks Terps offer

The Terps have made it clear that they’re looking to take a signal caller in the 2018 class, and the latest junior passing prospect offensive coordinator Walt Bell has set his sights on is Cincinnati (Ohio) St. Xavier three-star pro-style quarterback Chase Wolf, who picked up an offer March 2 from Maryland.

“I was really happy because Maryland is a great school,” Wolf, who also holds offers from Boston College, Iowa State, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, Western Michigan and Wisconsin, told TSR. “It’s Big Ten and there’s a storied tradition there, so I was ecstatic about it.”

The 6-foot-2, 193-pound Wolf said his conversations with Bell were minimal leading up to his Terps offer, but added that the two of them have begun to build a strong relationship since.
