Florida three-star wide receiver Jeshaun Jones commits to Maryland

The Terps landed their second commitment of the week from Fort Myers, Fla. in South Fort Myers (Fla.) three-star wide receiver Jeshaun Jones on Dec. 20.

Jones chose the Terps over finalists Iowa State, Pittsburgh and Nebraska after taking official visits to all four schools.

Jones officially visited Maryland the weekend of Nov. 11 when the Terps hosted Michigan. He was accompanied on that visit by fellow Fort Myers native Fa'Najae Gotay, who committed to the Terps a day earlier on Dec. 19.

With the addition of Jones to the class, the Terps now have multiple commits from talent-rich Florida for the second time in three years and have had at least one player commit from the Sunshine State all three recruiting classes under Durkin.

Jones becomes the 23rd prospect to commit to Maryland and is expected to enroll early in January.
