Former Terp and rookie undrafted free agent Beau Brade has made the Ravens 53-man roster, the team announced Tuesday evening.

The former Clarksville (Md.) River Hill High School standout started in all 25 games he played as a junior and senior at Maryland, earning honorable mention All-Big Ten honors both years. He led the Terps in total tackles each of those seasons while also recording 11 pass breakups, eight tackles for loss and three interceptions over those 25 starts.

At one point projected by some to potentially be taken as high as the second round of the 2024 NFL Draft, Brade went undrafted.

The 6-foot-1, 210-pound safety signed with the hometown Baltimore Ravens as a UDFA, knowing he would have to earn his spot on the roster during the preseason.

In three preseason games, Brade finished as the Ravens' second-leading tackler with 18 total tackles, while also finishing tied for the team lead with 13 solo tackles. He also led the team with two tackles for loss.

Brade also nearly had the defensive play of the game in the second preseason contest versus the Falcons with a called interception on the field that was later reversed after review and ruled incomplete.

Brade and the Ravens open the regular season next Thursday, Sept. 5 in Kansas City versus the defending Super Bowl Champion Chiefs.
