In Maryland’s most recent loss, the Terps’ glaring issues shooting the ball from deep and the free throw line were on full display in a four-point home letdown Dec. 22 against Seton Hall. But there was an official visitor in attendance at Xfinity Center that night who saw the loss as a potential opportunity.

IMG Academy (Bradenton, Fla.) 2019 four-star shooting guard Lester Quinones could be the answer to Maryland’s shooting deficiencies next season if he chooses to play in College Park at the next level.

The Terps’ loss to the Pirates was a buzzkill for Maryland’s out-of-conference résumé, but it also served as Exhibit A for head coach Mark Turgeon and his assistant Kevin Broadus’ recruiting efforts when it comes to the 6-foot-5 wing.
