Most of Maryland’s 2018 recruiting class was already solidified before Signing Day Dec. 20, but one pleasant surprise that emerged was a commitment from South Fort Myers (Fla.) three-star wide receiver Jeshaun Jones, who chose the Terps over finalists Iowa State, Pittsburgh and Nebraska.

“I just felt most comfortable there I guess you could say, between being with the players and being around the coaches and being on campus; it just felt like that was the place for me,” Jones told TSR.

The 6-foot-1, 170-pound wideout officially visited Maryland the weekend of Nov. 11 when the Terps hosted Michigan, and it turned out to be a trip that went a long way in helping Jones make a final decision.
