Maryland offer 'means a lot' to Ga. CB Rashad Ajayi
Maryland became the first Power Five program to ante up for Fairburn (Ga.) Langston Hughes 2018 two-star cornerback Rashad Ajayi when Terps senior defensive analyst Brawley Evans extended an offer to the 5-foot-11, 175-pound defensive back May 30.

While it was Evans who called to deliver the good news to Ajayi, it was actually Terps defensive line coach Jimmy Brumbaugh that visited the Peach State earlier this spring to watch Ajayi workout. Brumbaugh taped Ajayi’s workout and brought it back to College Park to be reviewed by the coaching staff, which eventually decided they’d seen enough to offer a scholarship.
