Savage a Terp

The Terps picked up their fourteenth commitment in the Class of 2015 on Monday evening from Bear (Del.) Caravel cornerback Darnell Savage.
The 5-foot-10, 170-pound speedster committed to Maryland after visiting campus with his family on Monday.

Maryland was the first school to offer the three-star prospect and stuck with him throughout the recruiting process despite fracturing both his right knee and femur bones in just the second game of his junior season.
Savage has been back at full strength since the beginning of 2014 and performed very well at the Rivals/Under Armour Camp in New Jersey earlier in the spring.
Savage picked the Terps over Rutgers and Syracuse, both of which recently offered while he camped at the schools. Savage also held offers from Old Dominion and Temple.
Savage, rated a three-star by Rivals.com, is ranked No. 2 overall in the state of Delaware.
TSR will have much more on Savage's commitment coming soon.
