Mike Locksley and Maryland football landed commitments from a trio of transfer portal prospects on Saturday.

On offense, the Terps picked up commitments from Georgia Southern tight end Dorian Fleming and Akron offensive lineman Jayvin James.

Fleming, a Henrico, Va. native, had 49 catches for 558 yards and six touchdowns this season for the Panthers. The 6-foot-3, 234-pounder was named second-team All-Sun Belt and a G5 All-American by HERO Sports. He will have two years of eligibility remaining.

James, a native of Deerfield Beach, Fla., started nine games this season at right tackle for the Zips as a redshirt freshman. The 6-foot-5, 290-pounder was highly coveted once he entered the transfer portal, with offers from Arizona State, BYU, Cincinnati, Colorado, Illinois, and more. He will have three years of eligibility remaining.

On defense, the Terps added Arkansas State cornerback Dontay Joyner Jr.

Joyner recorded 50 tackles, 7 passes defended and 2 interceptions while playing in all 12 games with nine starts for the Red Wolves this season as a sophomore. He visited Michigan State earlier in the week before ultimately committing to the Terps. He will have two years of eligibility remaining.

Maryland has now added five players from the transfer portal, having first added a pair of wide receivers in Tennessee's Kaleb Webb and Oklahoma's Jalil Farooq.
