Riverdale (Riverdale, Ga.) 2019 three-star tight end Jaelyn Lay picked up a Maryland offer Feb. 15 and an Iowa State offer Feb. 20 to add to his already impressive list of suitors looking for a player with his athleticism and versatility at his position.

The 6-foot-5, 210-pound Peach State prospect now has more than a dozen offers to his name, and some of the more notable schools to ante up over the last month or so include Clemson, Georgia, Ole Miss and Miami.

But new Terps tight end coach Dave Bucar wasn’t about to miss out on the action and made it a point to reach out to Lay recently to extend and offer and make sure he’s aware that Maryland is very interested in his services.
