It has become a rite of passage for prospects these days to take to Twitter to announce the offers they receive during their recruitment. For most, the tweet comes moments after they’ve heard the good news from a coach, but Raleigh (N.C.) Millbrook 2018 three-star defensive end Joseph Boletepeli took a much more formulated approach.

The 6-foot-4, 240-pound pass rusher picked up a Maryland offer in mid-February from Terps special teams coach Pete Lembo, but Boletepeli decided to wait until a hoard of schools came calling before using Twitter to let the world know.

The Tar Heel State product tweeted out offers March 14 from Boston College, Charlotte, East Carolina, Georgia Tech, Louisville, Maryland, Miami, NC State, Old Dominion and Rutgers. The next day he announced on Twitter his offer from Syracuse, and March 20 one from Appalachian State.

“I figured once I got a certain amount of offers I would just post them all at one time,” Boletepeli told TSR.
