MONTVALE, N.J. -- Maryland has already landed a commitment from Vineland North (N.J.) linebacker Nihym Anderson and now the Terps have their sights set on his teammate and best friend Isaih Pacheco, who keeps in touch with the staff in College Park regularly and could end up playing on both sides of the ball at the next level.

The 5-foot-11, 190-pound Pacheco is listed by most scouting services as a running back and/or cornerback. But as perhaps the best athlete on offense at Vineland, he actually lines up as a wildcat quarterback for most of the snaps. He could eventually end up helping out the secondary in College Park, but Pacheco said he is being primarily recruited by the Terps as a running back and slot receiver.

The relationship he has been building with Maryland’s coaching staff is only getting stronger and having Anderson already on board should only help the Terps’ chances.
